2. Join in the Duck Derby fun on Australia Day
The annual Marine Rescue Duck Derby is back for another year with a day of family-friendly fun. A charity event to raise funds for the Jervis Bay Marine Rescue, hundreds of rubber ducks are set to race the waters of Moona Moona Creek- plus, there will be lots of great food options and games to keep the kiddos entertained.

3. Book a babysitter & go on a date night
Jervis Bay may be quaint and quiet, but it is by no means shy of excellent dining options. During your stay, we highly recommend getting out and about to check out some of its great dining options if you have the chance to leave the kiddies with a babysitter or relatives. 4. Take the kids to the Husky Carnival
Running until the 26th of January 2025, the Huskisson Carnival is a family-run event. Featuring classic amusement rides, sideshow games, showbags, face painting and lots of delicious, classic food options, the Carnival promises to bring kid-friendly joy and excitement to Tomerong Street.
5. Spend a day at the beach
We are willing to wager that you booked your Jervis Bay holiday with plans to visit the local beaches. So, first and foremost on our list is exactly that.
