The open-plan living pavilion is the heart of the home, with soaring ceilings, a stone fireplace, and views that stretch across the valley. A mezzanine lounge offers a quiet nook for reading, while the media room is made for movie nights. Curated with Intention and Care
Every design choice here was shaped by resilience and vision. After losing the original house to fire, the owners worked with their architect to create something modern yet timeless. Three interconnected barn-style “cubes” clad in fire-resistant materials stand as a minimalist statement — bold and striking against the softness of the valley.
Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows frame the escarpments in every room. Details like hidden gutters and clean lines embody modern simplicity, while warm textures and thoughtful finishes make the home feel inviting.
There are quiet moments of magic too: the way first light spills across the hall window to ignite a metal sculpture, or how the house appears from the ridge behind, a striking silhouette, at once strong and serene.
Outdoors That Breathe With the Landscape
Fifty acres of rolling paddocks, dams, and escarpments invite you to explore. Watch kangaroos at play in the early morning, wombats with their young at dusk, and parrots filling the trees with colour.
Favourite spots are dotted across the property: the swing beneath the great eucalyptus tree that survived the fires; the pergola by the dam, where ducks paddle by as solar lights twinkle on at sunset; the ridge once used as a “golf tee,” where stray golf balls still hide in the grass.
Each season brings its own beauty: spring blossoms and wattles, summer mornings alive with wildlife, autumn poplars turning gold, winter evenings wrapped in firelight and crisp, starlit skies.
