Highlights
Designed for Country Comfort and Connection
Wychwood has the easy warmth of a much loved country homestead, with generous spaces designed for both togetherness and retreat. The home sleeps eight guests across four bedrooms, including three king bedrooms and one queen room, making it ideal for families, couples travelling together and small groups.
The main living area is anchored by a wood burning fireplace, creating a cosy heart to the home in the cooler months. A second fireplace adds another layer of comfort, while the air conditioned living area keeps summer stays easy and relaxed. Each bedroom includes radiant heating, soft bedding and a peaceful country feel.
The kitchen is one of Wychwood’s great pleasures. Spacious, welcoming and beautifully suited to group stays, it is the kind of kitchen where everyone naturally gathers. Cook breakfast while music plays, prepare long lunches with local produce, or bring in a private chef for a relaxed evening at home.
Gardens, Views and Poolside Days
The outdoor spaces are where Wychwood truly comes alive. The large alfresco area looks across the English style gardens and out over the valley, with outdoor dining for up to ten guests. It is made for morning coffee, long lunches, sunset drinks and warm evening meals surrounded by fresh country air.
The pool is sun drenched and beautifully positioned to take in the outlook. With sun loungers and Basil Bangs umbrellas, it feels like your own private country resort. Spend the afternoon swimming with the kids, reading by the water, or simply watching the light move across the paddocks.
Around the property, roses, established greenery, fruit trees and a veggie garden add to the sense of abundance. In season, guests may spot apples, figs, mandarins, kiwi fruit or grapefruit ripening across the estate. It is a place that invites you to wander slowly, breathe deeply and enjoy the rhythm of the land.
A Valley Escape for Every Season
Each season brings a different kind of magic to Wychwood. In spring and summer, the roses bloom, the pool becomes the centre of the day and the outdoor dining area is shaded for long alfresco meals. Warm afternoons are made for swimming, fruit picking and lingering outside until the stars arrive.
In autumn, the trees begin to turn and the valley glows with rich colour. It is the perfect time for long lunches, scenic drives and evenings around the fire pit.
In winter, Wychwood becomes wonderfully cosy. Light the fireplaces, pour a glass of wine, cook something generous in the kitchen and settle into the lounge for a movie night. Outside, the fire pit brings everyone together beneath crisp country skies.
No matter the season, Wychwood invites you to relax, unwind and enjoy country resort life among the lush green valley, peace and quiet.
